Umedia is the pioneer that first imported and introduced courier poly bags in Bangladesh during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when f-commerce and e-commerce were rapidly expanding in 2020.

Before our intervention, local entrepreneurs relied on makeshift packaging solutions such as tissue bags, brown envelopes, newspaper sheets, and fabric scraps to deliver their homegrown or boutique products. Recognizing this gap, we introduced poly-based self-sealing courier bags, revolutionizing packaging for small and emerging businesses in Bangladesh.

Over time, we established local manufacturing for these courier bags and expanded our product line to include bubble wrap, food-grade bags, pharmaceutical pouches, tamper-evident packaging, sticker labels, and more.

As our customer base grew, we discovered that a large portion of our clients were small and boutique operators. To empower them further, we developed an online platform where our clients can display and sell their products. Alongside this, we provide online and mobile transactions, logistics booking, and payment collection services, helping streamline their business operations.

We also support small-scale clients by connecting them with industrial suppliers, enabling them to source materials directly from large importers and manufacturers—bridging the gap between small businesses and large-scale production.
